Name detection is a rule, not a model
Player and team names in a post are matched against the player pool directly — longest match wins, matches never overlap, and an ambiguous surname like “Allen” is left alone rather than guessed at. Nothing is inferred, so a player who does not exist can never be linked.
Sign in to post, reply, vote in polls, and follow players, teams and other managers. Until then the board stays empty.
