Now that both inputs that actually predict rookie production are locked — draft capital and landing spot — we can build a real dynasty rookie board rather than a mock-draft guess. This is our first full sort of the 2026 class for long-term value.
The top tier is about opportunity, not just talent
The rookies at the top of our board share a pattern: high draft capital and a clear runway to touches. A brilliant prospect buried on a deep roster sits a full tier lower than a good prospect who walked into an open role, because in dynasty the timeline of production is worth almost as much as the ceiling of it.
- Tier 1: first-round skill players who landed into vacated roles — instant contributors.
- Tier 2: high-capital prospects with a one-year wait behind an aging starter.
- Tier 3: talented Day 2 picks in crowded rooms — buy-low upside if you can stash them.
- Tier 4: rushing quarterbacks and pass-catching backs whose floor outruns their draft slot.
Treat this board as tiers, not a strict ranking. Inside a tier the order barely matters; the tier you draft from is the decision that shapes your rebuild.
This initial build ships with demonstration data. Projections, rostered percentages and movement are illustrative and will be replaced when a live data provider and editorial backend are connected.
